Ginny Chizer & Bob Fose Scholarships

Ginny Chizer Scholarship

Ginny Chizer applications will be reviewed by members of the Ohio Educational Theatre Association State Board.  Because this scholarship is a tribute to Ginny Chizer and her dedication to theatre education and Ohio Thespians, board members will be looking for applicants who have demonstrated active participation as Thespians on the local and state levels.  In addition, board members will be looking for students with the potential to be leaders in the field of theatre education. Finalists will be invited to interview before a panel of judges including an Ohio Thespian Troupe Director, a college representative and a representative from the Educational Theatre Association home office. The winner will be announced at the State Conference closing ceremonies.  The scholarship will be sent directly to the student’s college.
