Biography of Patricia Kroeger:

For nearly 26 years, Pat has functioned as a one-woman marvel, manning (or “womanning”) the shipping department for first the Internation- al Thespian Society and later the Educational Theatre Association. Her many responsibilities include packaging and shipping jewelry, magazines, books, bumper stickers, bookmarks, graduation cords, medals, trophies and an oc- casional beanie to Thespian troupes across the United States and around the world. She also spends hours at the Xerox machine copying troupe rosters for teachers who request past lists.

She’s on a first name basis with mailmen and United Parcel deliverymen and has learned to master how to track the occasional package that often winds up at the school front desk yet never makes it to the troupe director.

Pat does this with the expediency of Amazon without the convenience of their warehouse system and networking. Instead, she can be found daily in the basement of the EdTA mansion where her dedication to her job is so consistent, it often goes unnoticed. Pat has long been a friend to the directors in Ohio and has often rushed orders to many of us in the State.

It is time Cinderella gets to go to the ball. For her many years of selfless service to the organization, I highly recommend Patricia Kroeger for inclu- sion in the Ohio Educational Association Hall of Fame.
