The association with Ohio for this Iowan dates as far back as 1987 when a frantic 1st time Ohio Festival-goer sponsor asked him to check on her boys. His caring concerns for Ohio continues to the present in his role as Executive Director of EdTA. He has mentored many members of the Ohio EdTA board and particularly the chapter directors. He has always given ad- vice on legal matters and liability issues, and support and just plain friend- ship. When attending our conferences he has always judged whatever we needed and no matter what time we needed advice, he was always available to consult with. In his role as Exec. Dir. he has overseen the incorporation of the chapter to protect the organization’s assets. He constantly works for the good of the organization, both the student Thespians and the professional educators who are members of the Educational Theatre Association. Ohio is as strong of a state as it is because of this transplanted Iowan now Ohioan.
